| State Council Information Office (SCIO) 国务院新闻办公室 | Website of the SCIO, which is the external name of the Publicity Department of the Central Committee of the CCP. Useful for seeing how the Chinese government wishes to present itself to the outside world. |
| Central Military Commission（中央军事委员会) | English language site of the Central Military Commission, the chief defense strategy and policy-making department in the PRC, much more powerful than the Ministry of National Defense. |
